But paying a whole new license of Photoshop is quite expensive, especially if one knows that other software, also produced by Adobe, allow their users to change the langage of their interface for free: After Effects, Lightroom, Bridge are examples I.
Hi, I've just switched over to a new machine and I'm trying to install Illustrator CS3, but I'm having all kinds of problems. The first time I tried it, the installer launched fine and ran through the wizard, but I had screen size issues so my system didn't meet minium requirements. Fixed that problem. So I go to install again, and it appears to be working and then right when it gets to 100%, I get this error message: 'You can only install one Adobe product at a time.
Please complete the other installation before attempting to install Adobe Illustrator CS3.' I wasn't trying to install any other Adobe program at the time. So I go to the 'Add and Remove Programs' center in my Control Panel, and sure enough, there is an Adobe CS3 icon there. I'm assuming its the remnant of my previous install attempt.
So I click 'Change/Remove' in an attempt to uninstall it and restart the process from the beginning. But nothing happens. My mouse-arrow turns into an hourglass, spins around a couple of times, and turns back into an arrow. Nothing else happens.
I have downloaded and unzipped the Adobe CS5 Cleanup Script, but when I run the CS5InstallerDatabaseUtility.exe tool, the command prompt screen returns the following message: 'List of products installed on this machine There is no session to delete.' So it appears that I cannot uninstall the remnant installation, and the cleanup script cannot find it. Thanks for your help-I really appreciate it. I've been using CS5 Standard on windows 7 for a year or so with no problem. But boy have I got a problem now!
First symptom was that on running InDesign it ran ok, curiously opened an.INDD file without my asking, displayed it, and then windows said 'InDesign has stopped working' and closed it. Problem not solved by starting with CTRL+ALT+SHIFT to reset preferences. Nor by deleting adobefnt.lst files. Nor by using different windows account.
Out of curiousity I ran Illustrator: same problem. By the grace of god Photoshop still works. Hi, I'm writing on behalf of one of our students. Our (German) university provides colleagues and students with a legit disc of Adobe CS4 Design Premium, provided by a central IT department. Unfortunately at setup time, using this DVD, no language choice is available except German, which proves problematic for most foreign students (either from other European countries, e.g.
France, or farther, e.g. Activation and registration of this German-only version succeeds with the provided serial, however this very serial number does not allow any later 'on top' installation of another language, for instance from international ESD versions of CS4 (LS1 or LS3). We expected to add some Chinese or at least English language. Browsing the various forums does not give very clear answer as to the language-switching ability of these various Creative Suites setup files.
It is not even clear to us if our installation medias are language-locked, country-specific or such. To the questions:. are (legit) serial numbers language-specific? Is there any restriction as to which languages a serial number allows to install?.
is there any way to 'unlock' additional languages from our CS4 installation DVD? Or are there any language packs to install, for Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator?. in case our license is language-restricted, what pricing options are there? (upgrade discount, separate language disc?) I'm asking on these forums hoping to get some enlightenment, but will gladly contact the customer service if things prove more complicated than expected. Hey there, I purchased the download version of CS3 Design Premium 3 years ago.
I backed up the program to a DVD-R and my external hardrive. My computer crashed and I found was unable to install from my back up copies but was able to download it from adobe.com and installation from the downloaded files went smoothly. When I reinstalled the suite on my Windows Vista Business HP Desktop, however, I decided not to install Dreamweaver. I just tried to install it now. All was going well until I was prompted to insert the CS3 Design Premium installation disc. I inserted the back up disc I made (no other files on it) and the message box won't budge. All the CS3 components are working great on my system, I just would like to add Dreamweaver.
I also would like to protect myself should the download link become unavailable in the future (right now I'm downloading the suite to my computer). Plus it'd be sweet not to have to wait 3 hours to download each time if possible. So my question is could someone please assist me in making a backup of my software that works so I can reinstall the suite or individual programs in the future? Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And thank you again. Liz Update: I signed into My Adobe and downloaded CS3 to my desktop, unzipped files, and proceeded to install a few components (after deactivating CS) and the same thing happened - Please Insert Adobe CS3 Design Premium to Continue Installation. I have legal copy of this software that was nearly 2,000, and I can't seem to find any solution after searching for hours on end.
I've considered buying an upgrade (the box/disc version) but I'm not sure I'd be able to upgrade if I can't get CS3 to move beyond this error message. I'm feeling frazzled If anyone could help me clear this hurdle I would be so grateful. I have recently upgraded my computer to better run Premiere and Encore but have now encountered the error 'Adobe Media Core CS6 has stopped working'. The program will then boot even after I choose either of the two options that say they should close the program. They both seem to run fine after getting past the error but I would rather not have to see it everytime and know that something is amis. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Quicktime like some other users have suggested but I think my problem may lie elsewhere.
Can anyone help me out? So I have bought CS4 Design Premium Student Edition a few years back and I'm still a student by the way. As far as I already know, prior to CS5 Student Editions were eligible for commercial use only in North America, but - does Acrobat 9 Pro still count as an integral part of Creative Suite? It can be bought separately as well. The thing is - I wanted to convert a few PDF documents to fully featured forms for someone and sell them, because I own a licence of Acrobat Pro. Can I do that?
Or does commercial use only refers to my own business and I can't sell the outcome of my work to someone else? How exactly does this work?
I'm outside of US and I don't even know if I can count Acrobat 9 Pro as eligible to perform commercial work. Thanks in advance! I recently ran into a problem with my computer that required a clean re-installation of Windows. I am attempting to re-install my hard copy of Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium Student and Teacher edition I purchased back when I was in college. Unfortunately I can't locate my serial number, and when I input the product code into Adobe's 'Identit-e 2.0' website it says that it doesn't recognize the code. What can I do to fix this problem?
I'll install the programs as trials for now, but I really want to clear this up before the trial runs out. Hi, I spent quite some time reading all the available stuff related to the annoying Exit Code 7 installation bug.
However, whatever I tried (and I did try a lot) was of no avail. I'll recap what I experienced: First of all, a couple of weeks ago, I got my hands on a new Toshiba notebook with a freshly installed W7 Pro x64. Except for the current Flash player and AIR no Adobe software had been installed. I did an trial installation of Photoshop CS5 which worked perfectly. No problems whatsoever, neither afterwards. Now, I wanted to install 3 apps of the Master Collection on an older notebook with Windows XP SP3.
This notebook meets the minimal system requirements (processor, RAM, HD space.). Currently, merely the latest Flash player is installed, no other Adobe programs. The internal XP Firewall is active, but no other measures are taken, i.e. No Antivirus program.
I read about issues concerning Font Management tools: none either. There is one difference between the W7 x64 installation and the above mentioned XP installation: The Windows directory which defaults to 'C: WINDOWS' is 'C: XP' for the XP installation. Hello, SUMMARY: Every time I install Adobe CS3 on this new Windows7 computer, I lose access to the internet. If I leave CS3 uninstalled, I have no problems, and have gone for more than a week with full internet access that way. However, as soon as I install CS3, I lose internet, typically after the next reboot or Adobe update. Uninstalling the software does not seem to restore connectivity, and I instead have to do a system restore back to just before I installed it.
This is a fresh install of Windows7 32 bit on a brand new hard drive. The only other programs installed on this computer are Office 2007, Firefox and Thunderbird (Mozilla email). CS3 had been installed and used on this computer for two years under Windows XP without any problems until the hard drive began to fail.
At that point I purchased a new hard drive and a fresh copy of Windows7 (full install - not upgrade) and started over. Everything else works swimmingly. I have spent 2 weeks trying to figure this out, and we are at a loss. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, and set system restore points before I install any program. I have gone back and tried installing CS3 at previous points, to no avail. I have also tried installing specific Adobe updates directly from the web site, such as updated VersionCue files.
Some searching on the web has shown that others have had this same problem, but I can't find a solution. At this point the only way I can use the software is to do a System restore (forward) to when it was installed, use the program, and then do a system restore (backward) when I am done to have access to my email and browser.
Obviously, this isn't sustainable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I cant get much done on this computer until this is fixed. Hello there, Recently I moved from CS2 to CS3 and installed CS3 successfully. But the next day it started throwing me some error Don't remember the exact error and hence I tried to uninstall CS3 to re-installed it again. But I'm not able to uninstalled it. Then I just run setup.exe and it started throwing me below error.
'You can only install one Adobe product at a time. Please complete the other installation before attempting to install Adobe Photoshop CS3.' Note: I'm not installing any other Adobe product at all. If anyone please help me to sort out this that would be a big HELP. Regards, Vishal N. 3 days ago I installed CS6, opened Premiere once without problem, now it gives me an error titled 'Adobe Premiere Pro.exe - Bad Image': C: Windows system32 MSVCP100.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. After that, I removed CS6 completly from my computer, and reinstalled it, after I scanned for virussus. Still the error message appears. I use Windows 7. Where can I find info on the difference between installations of 'English-International' and 'English-US' When I go to install CS4 Premium, after putting in the serial number, and clicking 'accept', the next screen that comes up has a grayed out box that says 'English, International'.
If I go 'back' and select to install as 'trial' version and go to the previous, (the next screen after 'accept' license), I have options to install as 'English-US' or 'English-International'. I stopped my attempt to install until I can resolve this issue. I could attempt to install as trial 'English-US' and then after install, attempt to activate with the serial number, but I hesitate to do this. Please advise asap. Please direct me to Adobe tech info on the differences of the two versions.
Hello, I have windows 7 64 bit, and adobe creative suite cs3. I downloaded a tria of Adobe Acrobat XI and it removed my Adobe Acrobat 8 that came with my suite. Now, my trial has ended, I uninstalled Acrobat XI. Using my creative suite disk, I tried reinstalling the suite in hopes of getting acrobat 8 back. When it comes time to enter the serial number, I denies it, saying that it is not valid. Also, I am missing.dll files during and after the installation.
Any help you can provide is appreciated.
